Here's the story told by Dave behind our new video:

I've had a long roll of paper in my family for the last 30 years. Its the size of a tree trunk, 3.5 feet wide. It's just hung on the garage ceiling. It almost crushed/killed my brother when we tried to take it down. My dad had picked it up off the side of the road long ago. When my mom was selling her house in Decatur, she wanted it gone so I decided to hang it from my garage ceiling in Athens and perhaps I'd find a use for it. We did! At least for 92 feet of it. We built a machine to turn the paper using motors and pvc pipe and found a bunch of artists to draw on it. Then we used magnets to direct the puppets. I tagged everyone I could on Facebook but the full list is in the credits at the end of the video. Check out our new song America’s Open Roads:

This month we will be travelling a little outside of Georgia to play with one of our biggest influences, the Wood Brothers. If you don't know of them, they have been called the "masters of soulful folk" go find them on their website, here. Catch our shows with them in Wilmington, DE on 10/11 @ The Grand Opera House In Richmond VA on 10/12 @ The National and in our sweet hometown of Athens, GA on 10/16 @ The Georgia Theater !

If you wanna catch the fall colors, and a cold beer on a cool night, see us 10/20 in Asheville, NC @Fat Tire Fridays .

We will also be in Gainesville, Florida on 10/28 to play @ Heartwood Soundstage . This is a gorgeous, new, state of the art sounding room with an intimate listening environment in the middle of downtown!

The new art up on the site was made by my dear friend Michelle Norris who is a killer photographer and stylist with Tropico Photo .

We are also so happy to announce that our next full album is expected to drop next spring! It has some pretty awesome collaborations, so stay tuned sweet folk friends!
